Glen Oaks Big Sur has a variety of lodging options. There are motel style rooms at the Adobe Motor Lodge and cabins nestled in the redwood grove just across the street. The décor and amenities are similar for both types of rooms, but the cabin experience is what we were after.
Big Sur is a wonderful place to visit and now is the perfect time to do it. Coast highway is now open, since bridges damaged in last Winter's storms have been repaired. You can now get to Big Sur from the south and the north.
